Dream 04-24-16

I was in a van with a few other people. Between three and five. We were sitting at an intersection someplace I don't think I've ever been - awake or dreaming. There was a box truck across the street in front of us trying to back onto a trailer. The guy misjudged and the back wheel came off the edge. I could see the whole truck start to topple and looked away. Somehow he was able to maintain control enough to try again.

I looked out the side window and noticed antlers. The top of very tall, very intricate wooden antlers. It was a statue of some famous character. I reached for my camera and the van tilted. Somehow we ended up on top of a skyscraper and the statue was topping the building next to us. "It's not finished", someone said. 'Who cares?' I thought, 'When am I ever going to be this close again?' I tried to move carefully so the van wouldn't topple. Not sure if I got the picture.

Dream 04-22-16

I was in an unfamiliar neighborhood and it was night. It was a long dream, but I don't remember much of the beginning. I was hanging out with some cousins (don't know them waking, dream-cousins) and I think we were getting drunk. I thought "there's someplace nearby to be" and began walking. One of my 'cousins' walked with me. She was in a really good mood. That was nice.

We walked a few blocks in the silent darkness. Finally I saw it. "Matt's House". A small blue pre-fab hardly the size of a shed. On the outside. He left the door unlocked which was good because I really had to pee. The inside seemed really spacious, lots of white and rich woods, and well lit. I passed him on my way to the bathroom and he smiled.

The bedroom and bathroom were dimly candlelit with rose petals everywhere. I wished I didn't have to pee so badly. There were to toilets separated by a shower curtain. I picked the one nearest the door to relieve myself.

Then, again, about 20 people showed up. Several actually barging into the bathroom. I made my way out of the bathroom and found Matt in the kitchen. He started telling me about a girl he was seeing. I said, "Thanks, but I really don't need details"... and then she was there. Petite, brunette, very cute. They sat together at the coffee table making jewelry. Oh. Okay. Someone (I don't know who) remarked, "love can grow doing things like this regularly". She giggled. I left.

Dream 04-13-16

It was weirdly disjointed and random. Starts with me as an adult and AJ's a kid. She keeps following me around trying to get me to wear a Spiderman costume because she's wearing one, but it's way too small for me. She gets mad and starts throwing things at me.

Then I am a kid superhero. My power is balance and something to do with bridges? A train derailed somewhere so a superhero buddy and I go to help, but everyone is okay and just walks away.

I'm an adult again at some kind of birthday party. I'm not sure if it was for someone I knew in real life or from tv. Everyone is just sort of hanging out and there are balloons. The birthday girl hands me a flier to read, but it's sticky and there are some (3?) bugs stuck to it. I pick off the bugs and I guess everyone left.

Next I'm driving down a road, almost a highway. It's bright out and I'm doing a pretty good job in spite of the road splitting and signs being very vague. I picked up Matt from work and took him home. He lives with some girl in a decent sized house. He flops onto a couch and I'm not sure what to do so I sit on the other one. The girl (lady?) keeps talking and pacing around. Then she picks up one of the cats to let it outside, but when she lets go the cat just stays floating in the air. She grabs the cat and takes it to the back room. I look over and Matt is squatting to my right, smiling. He texts me a heart and when he hits "send"...

My alarm goes off.
